How to request uniform items:
The Uniform Supply Cage is OPEN during the times specified on the POD. Cadets are responsible for making sure that they report to the cage during the stated 'Open' times. Parents are asked to empower their cadets to take care of their uniforms. Therefore, completion of the Stores Request Uniform Form, should wherever possible, be completed by the cadet. Parents are asked to refrain from crossing the deck (gym) to ask questions or enter the cage for any reason. We thank you for your co-operation. 1. My 'uniform' no longer fits. Fill in the Contact the Supply Officer (SO) form with as much information as possible. Items may be exchanged one for one at the times shown on the POD during a drill weekend. Make sure that you respond and follow any email directions sent to you from the SO. 2. Lost uniform or rate patches. Fill in the Contact the Supply Officer (SO) Form with details of the item of clothing that you have lost. You will receive an email back from the SO with details of the cost to replace the item. Make sure that you have the money to pay for a replacement at the next drill weekend. Give your money to the Finance Officer (FO) and you will receive a receipt, show the receipt to the SO and you will be issued a replacement item. 3. Going on a National Training and the Seabag says you need extra uniform or something that was not already issued to you. Fill in the Contact the Supply Officer (SO) Form with details that include; when the training starts, what items you are required to have and how many. Check your current uniforms for the size that you are and add those to the form also. 4. Promoted and needing new rate patches for working and dress uniforms. Carefully remove, or take all your uniforms to the Supply Officer (SO) and request that the rate patches be removed (uniforms damaged due to the careless removal of patches will need to be paid for). Once rate patches are returned to the SO the new ones earned will be issued. It remains each Cadet (and or their parent/guardian's) responsibility to ensure that new patches are applied to all uniforms. |
